The Truth about Tours and Tour Companies

We offer amazing tours from Anaheim - some of these tours are only available through this website because we listen to guests and find out what they want to do and invent these tours that we make available to you!    Some of the tours, we book through other companies because they can do it better or cheaper than we can.  When that happens, you don't pay more for the tour, you get it for the same price (and sometimes less) because we have lower NET or WHOLESALE rates with these companies. 

We NEVER book you on a tour that we haven't gone on ourselves and, if we get feedback from guests about a tour that is negative, we stop using that company for that tour.  This way, we can honestly say that "If you are staying in the Anaheim Resort area, the BEST WAY to tour is with the Visitor Services and the Anaheim Visitor Center - providing the BEST TOURS from the BEST COMPANIES".

Coach USA/Grayline, VIP Tours, Grand Express Tours and other companies offer great tours - the problem is that these companies have to offer 12 to 20 different tours to keep their buses running and to compete with each other and companies from LA who want to offer departures from Anaheim.

Booking a Seaworld tour with Grayline is great this year because they offer free transportation to Seaworld if you buy the ticket through them - however, booking a Hollywood Tour with them isn't as great, in our opinion, because you ride a BIG BUS with lots of other people and it's not as good as using a company that has smaller buses and more driver interaction.  Plus, when you get picked up for a tour, your tour hasn't started yet.  They are a huge company and the buses have to pick up lots of other guests - then, when you get to their tour station, you will wait in line with all those guests until you board another bus to go to your tour.  This means that if you get picked up at 8am, you don't typically start your tour until 9:30am or later.  That's the same with most tour companies.  The tours we do through the Anaheim Tour Company (that's us) don't go to a tour stop - your tour begins when you get on the bus and that gives you more time to see the things you want to see!

The Hollywood Tour is one that is definitely improved when you go in a smaller vehicle - which, again, is why we don't use any of the larger companies for that tour.  You don't typically know what size bus you will be on for a tour when booking from home and probably never think to ask.  You might be disappointed when you get here and realize you could have seen everything on that tour riding in a mini-coach with 23 other people instead of a great big bus with 60 other people.  Just the time it takes for everyone to load and unload in a big bus is a huge waste of time when you're on a tour. 

That's where we come in! We know all the companies and you can get the same deal from us as you can through them (sometimes better) so it doesn't cost you more to book everything with one, family run company that is as serious about your good time as you are.

If somebody doesn't offer a good tour, we create one (and utilize the Anaheim Tour Company with the distinctive Woody Style buses!). Over the past year, this includes tours like our OC Beach Bus Tour, Warner Brothers Deluxe Combo Tour or Whale Watching Tour. We don't do a tour to Seaworld - because Coach USA/Grayline already does it well. We don't to an LA at night tour - because VIP tours already does it well.
